How exactly is an imaginary breakup funny?

well, humorless scold, it’s funny because people here are discussing their hypothetical holiday vacation together, but this is based on pure speculation because we have little to no information about their relationship status. You see, the humor is rooted in the possible reversal of expectations. This is a common basis for comedy.

I guess I don't see any humor or comedic value in imagining people to have broken up.... It seems rather sad and petty to me, but so many people on here seem to enjoy throwing up empty claims of celebs not having a stable relationship, and they do so out of nothing more than spite and/or attention seeking.

Like what the hell is wrong with just wishing folks well? Why be such jealous little toxic c-units??
