why are you so pressed about some random celebrity's relationship status? i've never seen you contribute anything of value to a conversation. perhaps you should look into why this particular topic bothers you so much.
I don't want to call myself a shipper, but I've kept up to date on how they were doing since that pap photo in 2020. Most of the "fandom" is doing alright. Since they still both follow each other's families and Froy likes Dick sr. insta photos and vice versa, it looks like from the outside that Richard and Froy are on good terms - either together or apart.
I will say that Zane and Froy look quite cozy together and Froy has been looking very happy the last many weeks. As long as Froy is happy that's all that matters
Also, It must be very hard maintaining/keeping a relationship when your man spends 3 weeks on a press tour, then gets 1 week off before going to Greece for 9 weeks. I can understand how that might take a toll on a relationship

Totally!!. Agree with you. Froy looks Happy and he's still following Richard and liking his last post. I just really hope Richard is doing okay, he's still inside the closet for hollywood and must be hard for him and his relationships.

I do feel for the Froy/Madden peeps. They vicariously invested themselves in the construct and it' hard to deal with when it falls apart.

Dude, it was a nice relationship (maybe still is?), and I love Richard and Froy as a couple and individuals. Speaking for me, I'm going to support them always.
I have a feeling their issues, whatever they are, probably started long before the work stuff started back up.

I stopped keeping up with the Froy/Madden stuff ages ago, but good for him if he’s moved on to someone that doesn’t treat him like a dirty little secret.
Technically Froy is not out either ( he hasn’t announced it publicly). Richard and Froy were BOTH secretive/discreet about their relationship to the general public (probably for their careers). But let’s not forget that Froy was also secretive about his previous relationship with the boyfriend BEFORE Richard. I doubt Richard forced him to be in the closet publicly.
They dated for three LONG years and a lot can change in a early 20’s person’s life in that time. It seems that Froy wants to be more open and show more affection to his boyfriend in public now. Good for him. Maybe he will announce something soon?

Practically he is out in the open. There's no legal requirement to publicly announce your coming out in global media. Younger gays nowadays no longer feel obligated to "come out" publicly. They just are out.
Well he isn’t the average “young gay“ he is a public figure and a possible role model to many younger fans.
Hmmm, I wouldn't say he was that secretive with Hunter. There's a lot of pics and vids of them together (that they both openly and willingly shared on their socials at the time). They just never acknowledged what it was openly with a label. A very different situation than Froy and Richard.
Considering how private Richard lives, and the pullback from Froy himself during that time specifically, I think there will always be a lot of unanswered questions about what the state of that relationship was during its time, and what kind of influence they both had on each other.
Potentially unpopular opinion here. Gay actors don't need to be anyone's role model. They don't have any obligation or warrant to be some lgbtq champion for anyone by coming out. If it happens naturally, fair enough but I don't think this sentiment is valid that someone should "come out" to be a role model to somebody. Everyone should come out in their own time or when comfortable.
