Froy (teen wolf)

This morphing into your significant other is pretty common in the queer community. Anyone know if there is a legit psychological reason behind it? Only thing I could think of is possibly some sort of people pleasing aspect.

Maybe it’s similar to dogs who look like their owners, but like the people version :)

It would certainly be interesting to know why that happens haha.

Good question. I think we've all seen this pattern play out a lot, and it's actually quite fascinating to be honest. But not sure it's entirely unique to us though...

Maybe it's like protective camouflage? "If the gay bashers can't tell me and my boyfriend apart, maybe they'll hesitate deciding who to attack first and we'll be able to escape!"

Like Paintact suggested it is not unique to gay couples so please put that narrative to rest lol

Recent research suggests rather than actually "resembling each other over time" people tend to select partners who look similar to themselves in general as well

I think we were talking about gay male couples who look like clones of each other, same clothes, hairstyle and color, facial hair, body shape. That definitely happens more among gay men than straight couples.

And it may just be for the obvious reasons - it's 2 men. Two people of the same gender can share and mimic each other more easily and obviously than a hetero couple (though it does happen). But I am somewhat fascinated by the psychological reasoning behind it. Some may also lean more heavily into mirroring, consciously aware of it or not, because they struggle with developing their own identity, style, etc... anyway, just thoughts.

I think it's the assumption that when both have the exact same interests (and look the same) it's less likely that they break up because one of them wants to satisfy a need outside the relationship.

He's basically been doing this since early this year, around the time he started seeing Zane. I think Zane's been introducing him to all his friends, contacts, etc... It's been pretty consistent.
Hopefully soon he will start following gay porn actors lmao.

I bet Sean Ford is dying to be fucked by Froy and Zane and then post friendly pics of them on IG for clout (not judging, that pretty whore has taste!)
Tbh Froy and Zane should be like Jake Preston and Clark. Doing hot gay porn together of muscular bottom and twunk top hahaha
