Who here has ever had their ID checked at the door of a gay bar? I can see it happening at the bar itself if alcohol is being ordered, but I think you'd have to roll up on a tricycle with a lolipop to be refused entrance.

If it's a bar, they can get massively fined if they get caught serving underage. They have to card to prevent legal issues. If the gay bar doesn't ID at the door, I wouldn't go there.

In NY every gay bar is going to have a door person checking IDs all weekend.

Same in LA. It's standard.
