Going on 15 years in my open relationship. We’ve outlasted many of the closed hetero couples our age who live(d) on our block. How much longer till it counts as lasting?
Always an acceptation to the rule, however it's not for me and my belief still remains there is too many issues with it, if you love someone truly in my belief that one person should be enough... so for me if you or your partner needs someone else then to me that person you're with isn't enough, also I have too much self-worth to be letting other people in my relationship also I would worry what he's brining home to me, because let's be real gays aren't really know for looking after their sexual health.... please don't say prep lol. But congratulations on 15 years I hope you have many more to come and have a happy and healthy life.

If it’s not for you, then fine, but don’t be judging other people’s relationships and calling them toxic. There are far more toxic monogamous relationships out there than toxic poly ones.
It's weird that when an open relationship ends, everybody jumps to the conclusion that it was the reason for the breakup. When a monogamous relationship ends, nobody thinks that monogamy might have been the reason. There are millions of reasons a relationship can end. Don't make assumptions. I am in a happy open relationship, together for 25 years. Love and sex are two very different things. As someone else said on here, everyone has their thing.
Some people are monogamous by nature. Others aren't. 60% of married men wish they were in an open relationship. 5% of married women wish they were in an open relationship. If it is not an issue for people inside of open relationships to have multiple partners, I don't see why it is our business to object.
Because that's part of life, if you're going to put something out there someone is going to have an opinion, after all this is a forum, like I said if people wanna run their life like that then that's their choice. But as I stated I have far too much pride and self worth to enter into such an agreement and i Would be worried what my partner would be brining home, one of the main reason HIV was able to spread so fast among other STIS

you think HIV/STIs spread because there were too many ...poly/open relationships. ok.
If you have done as much research over the years on the topic one of the main causes was the sharing of sexual partners the other was the explosion of drug use anoung gay men at the same time, poppers being one of the main ones as it completely degrades your immune system but that's a whole different story. Many Gay men always have and always will have an unhealthy approach to sex.

Pride has absolutely zero to do with it. You’re being judgmental about mine and other relationships of members on this site. There’s no reason any of us would allow homophobia to go on in here unchecked and likewise we are calling you out on your poly-phobia. You’re calling our relationships toxic when it’s your comments that are.
Just say it’s not for you and move on…. or better yet keep your comments to yourself since your opinion on the relationship status of two people in a sex video was completed unsolicited.

ok. when did this site become brim filled with a bunch of unhappy contrarians who literally only come to the site to pick at others lives,situations, and sexual preferences. people that they don't know and cant have an effect on them at that. its really become pathetic and lpsg is now a far-pitch from a positive community.. i don't even think it was this bad a few months ago, but someone correct me if im wrong? where did all these hateful voices come from?
I wasn't trying to be hateful its my view and opinion it's a forum for the love of God people are going to have contrasting views.... the world isn't a pretty little echo chamber where we all agree.
