I find it very telling that Nick didn’t address the obvious question if he and Daniel were still boyfriends or not why not put an end to the speculation. Granted that’s their business but why not just address it head on.

As for the harassment claim has anyone who has followed them for awhile seen any anywhere as he was claiming? I haven’t, not unless it was happening privately

That’s not harassment that’s just asking a question lol just ignore it if you don’t want to answer there’s a block button for a reason
I was replying to the first part of your statement, not the second. Here is a reply for the second part: People have been making several fake accounts accusing Nick of dating their Asian friend Justin, which is even mentioned in the comments. Also, they accused Dan of dating Connor, their social media friend.

I haven’t seen that anywhere or heard anything about it

One comment over 3 months ago is hardly constant harassment as they claim but I don’t agree with the person assuming things either

But Daniel should take his own advice in the process from what I’ve seen he’s not a nice person very judgmental and always voices his opinions on others when no one asked.

My point is the video posted by Nick and their reasoning was not honest it came across as very forced and fake

The comments have been on all social media for over a year. I am not going to go through all of Justin, Nick, Dan, and Connor's social media posts to show you what they've been posting. Dan had to stop streaming on YouTube because they were constantly harassing him, and he had to get a moderator to delete comments.

I am sorry they have had dealt with that, it unfortunately comes with the territory but they could have very easily solved any issues easily. It’s sad they they allowed it to effect their relationship. If it were me I would have just turned off all comments or severely restricted them or got off of social media all together

OMG CAN THEY NOT!? Especially now that they're so equally-hot... Don't be so selfish...

I mean everyone is entitled to change their mind and direction, for whatever reason..

I mean, what will those who constantly harass them can actually do? What are they being asked of? To start OF? To pose nude? Film a hot sex scenes? I mean if they don't want to do it, no one can force them really..
It’s becoming increasingly common for fans to view social media influencers as their close friends based on how much they get to know them. I’m not implying it is the case here, but there have been a scary number of cases over the last few years where influencers are stalked, aggressively approached in public, and in some cases physically attacked. This is often based on how much people get to know them online and then demand their attention and compliance in person.

At the end of the day, what you mentioned above sums it up. It’s their life, and perhaps they regret to some extent how much they have let socials get to them. I try to put myself in others shoes. If I am proud of my workout progress and post shirtless photos online, I should expect some vulgarity and questions about OF, nudes, etc. If I regularly made it clear that I am not interested in producing that content, and that I am a human not a fantasy that you can demand sexual or inappropriate things from, and it just kept happening, I’d probably change up my content or slowly retreat too.

The fact that it has become so socially acceptable to outwardly sexualize and harass people online, when it’s so frowned upon in public, is concerning. If someone invites you to engage in that activity with them or gives the green light for others to talk dirty to then, go for it! Otherwise, it’s cringey and gross. Just my opinion!

That’s absolutely true and while a lot of people are certainly delusional enough to believe they’re in these parasocial relationships with online personalities the fact is that the influencers themselves are actively contributing to it by presenting themselves in that light. Tom Holland posts thirst traps all the time but he also makes damn sure everyone knows Zendaya carries his balls in her purse, lol.

Meanwhile these guys constantly post “GRWM” videos where they literally take every single piece of clothing off and stare right into the camera as if they were giving you a striptease. And then they’re surprised people sexualize them? Give me a break…

It’s concerning but it’s also always been the case. The cloak of anonymity that the internet provides has always made it easy for people to be total creeps to strangers online. So while sad and unfortunate, it’s hardly new. That said, I guess it might have just gotten too much and they really do want to take a step back which is fine. They just have to take some of the responsibility about their current predicament and embrace the good as well as the bad and the ugly of having and maintaining an active social media presence. It’s ease to throw all the blame on the weirdos but that’s not where all of it lies.

Well.. if taking responsibility for them means setting boundaries, no matter how late, then so be it. Those creeps and demanding fans can get mad all they want but they ain't nothing you can do when they say you don't like it no more or they think the response/requests have gone way too much. I mean, I'm one of those who still wants to see them in an onlyfans vid or a leaked hot sex scene but there's nothing I can do if they strictly don't wanna do that!

As far as whether they're still together or not... it's easy to appear together for a vid or post a Pic together with a caption. But the fact that none of that exist recently, it's very telling that something's going on.

Exactly yes I agree that people should not invade their private lives, but to blame something like being sexualized as a excuse is laughable all the while saying there will be more shirtless content, not to say they deserve to be sexually harassed but take some responsibility and accountability

As for the harassment I’ve seen almost little to none on any of their social media unless it was happening privately via Dms and if it was so bad as claimed there are so many tools at their disposal to use to stop it

The whole video came across to me as intentionally misleading dishonest BS clickbait for views and praise, it’s none of anyone’s business granted but just be real and honest how hard is it to say yes or no it’s not that deep

You took the words out of my mouth!

I’ll only add that I stick by my overall theme: Simply appearing online in underwear, or showcasing more of the lesser seen parts of your relationship, doesn’t invite others to sexualize and harass you. When you make a clear statement that you don’t welcome it, it means that the activity should stop. For that I think we are all on the same page.

I also agree that this isn’t a new issue, men have forever used the excuse that “If she didn’t want to be sexualized she shouldn’t have worn that skirt and showed her ankles.” Unfortunately that has historically been, and in some cases still is an acceptable defense for some people. Given how many times a day we are assaulted visually and audibly with sexually charged content it won’t stop or go away. As a result, people have to decide what works best for them. It could be wearing more layers to quell catcalling, openly displaying/carrying pepperspray, calling people out publicly to shame them when they are out of line, or changjng what you choose to share publicly.

In this case, Dan and Nick appear to be trying to preserve their relationship by keeping some parts of their lives offline and I applaud that. At the same time, it seems like shirtless content and thirst traps from them individually won’t be going anywhere, and for that I am thankful. 🙏 I’m rooting for them, they are cute together and really seem to have a lot of love for each other.

People sent pictures of where they live to them. They went to the police, but the police did nothing. Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Like I said, I have seen it.

I didn’t say it didn’t happen I just said I haven’t seen it, that’s totally not ok for anyone to do at all no one deserves that regardless

But it absolutely could be that deep We could theoretically say that life has become complicated and they aren’t sure where they are, and they are pulling back couples content while working through some things, so they may not have an answer. You could also surmise that being in a weird spot with things, and then faking it for the camera, could be that deep too. That’s the entire basis of “Respect Our Boundaries” which is the basis of this entire conversation over them changing things up.

As for my theory behind them breaking the silence pivoting to individual posting and attracting folks there with shirtless photos, my guess is that they rely on this income and are seeing the effects of their social media break. Dan has also been heavily promoting his Twitch streams and has garnered a big base there, so he’s got his own followers. The series of Ask Me Anything shirtless photos Nick did a few days ago, and the heavy shirtless show offs from him are to make sure his followers join him on his individual socials as well.

Again, 100% my own theory based on how I interpret the recent posts. I also totally support this move for them. Rather than air their dirty laundry while they are figuring things out, they are pressing forward to keep the fan base engaged. That would mean if they go back to doing couples content they would still have an audience to deliver to. Followers equals Dollars, after all! There are so many instances of this happening in social media, and very few breakup have gone well from a PR standpoint. Justin and Hailey having to deal with the constant abuse from Selena’s fans. Nicky and Pierre and the abuse they received from fans who demanded they get back together regardless of their differences. Uh, Brit Brit and JT? 😝

“They rely on this income.”

I really doubt that. If they are making money from their content, I’m pretty sure it pales in comparison to what they’re making from their day jobs. I don’t remember exactly what both of them do professionally, but in the case of Nick, I believe he makes a lot of money in his current job. Pretty sure his family is incredibly wealthy also. I think sharing their personal lives to strangers is a hobby to them and not a substantial source of cash.

Though, I do agree that the switch to solo/non-couples content is probably to give them time to reevaluate their relationship and how much of it they want to show. Part of it could just be they also want to evolve their content, but Dan’s cryptic post implies things are rocky.

To be brutally honest, I’m here for an evolution of their content. I’ve always thought their short skits were incredibly cringey acts of fan service and not representative at all of their relationship.
