Fellow Travelers is a TOTAL BUMMER.. SORRY Disappointed much. I never got turned on with any of their sex scenes, considering I was eagerly anticipating hot love scenes between these gorgeous actors, Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey! These gay movie directors need to learn a thing or two with directing gay sex scenes -- it's not all about buttsex and wild exhibitions for fucksake! You can do all the wild exhibitions simulating buttsex but we all now that ain't inserted and happening in real life. What straight sex scenes? Mainstream movies basically don’t show sex any more.

I agree sex scenes can benefit from being heightened or romanticized, but personally I’m always taken out of the story by a sex scene where the mechanics don’t work (cough cough White Lotus rimming scene), honestly more than if it’s just not sexy enough.

Also I think people on this site have a bias towards wanting everything to be eroticized, it comes with the territory, but the reality is that not every sex scene is meant to turn you on.

Realistic where?? Literally 90% of gay sex scenes don't involve the penises at all and the actors cum in under a minute without ever touching their dicks. Not realistic in the slightest.
