Grindr Is Over Party

Excuse me are you Asian or something
Thank you for that input
However you are derailing from the main issue
The main thing is POC are sought after differently on these apps
The issue wasn’t put only on black men
This issue is also for black trans women and others of color
I’ve never heard that and now I am concern

I’m white, not that it matters.

It’s not an input, it’s a fact. Multiple studies have been done on this subject. If you don’t wanna be called out, maybe at least address the main groups affected by this particular issue, if you’re planning to address one at all. It’s not missing the point, it’s clearing it out.

If you’re advocating awareness, then shouldn’t a group you’re mostly giving awareness to also white people? Considering they’re the group that would be most privileged in this case, and therefore, their inputs be advocated so as to educate (or indoctrinate, strictly speaking) these people?

If this is just about stories of discriminatory instances on Grindr, and in your particular case, strictly just black people, then I suppose go off? You just don’t seem to be really open to discussion and just want to be shouting with your loud voice. And when you shout, people hear, but that’s not how people listen. Gotta tone it down a bit.

No offense but
Depression for who? Cause I don’t respond to White men on Grindr anyway, I’m looking for black kings amongst things.
That’s the point sis Grindr has started along with other apps
Inactive policy - if you don’t respond to someone
Most times - white men
You can get reported for being fake
And they delete black people quicker because of racially motivated discrimination
If you get reported more than once your account is gone

If you don’t get the thread and are not of color please log off or share how you being discriminated against is in comparison to people of color constant oppression .
I’ll wait

So you're just gonna stick with what you previously said with no logical refutes to anything I said with your sassy gay ass gifs? lol, enjoy failing to make any lasting differences for anyone with this thread with that attitude.

So all the black men are ignoring the white men and Grindr thinks they’re inactive and deleting them? :joy:

^Not to stir away from the main issue but black men are picked more on dating/sex apps than Asian men. There are actually studies on that. Just putting it out there.
What gay man is looking to grindr for dates and a relationship? The majority are looking for sex or, as a some may call it, "friends". Black men are solely fetishized much more than Asian men, therefore picked up more. Especially the extremely masculine and light skinned ones. Many are used to fulfill fantasies and roles that much of society has helped push. It depends on the person, but the cringingly normal use of "BBC" is the perfect example. Craving for it is in no way normal. It's even being used in BLM protests. You either like big cock, don't like big cock, or could care less about the size. Uncut or cut. Shaved or hairy. Those are typically the harmless preferences, but if you are specifically looking for it to be black, it's nothing but a racist fetish.

Using Black as a description is used a lot more in porn as well, and the amount "thug", outside of actual gang scenarios, gets used as a synonym just for a black man is ridiculous. Some men go on these apps just with that same intent of being used by someone more "aggressive"... Some don't even have a reach of black men that fit their bill within their own social circles. For them, black skin is a step closer to the quality of aggressive, ruthless dominance they are craving, whether the person they are hooking up with actually possess that quality or not. It's kind of like some people and their impressions of tattoos on people, except racist! As we've been seeing more of lately, many dudes (mainly white) have proven that they view black men as nothing more than a means of getting off. If their "preferences" haven't eliminated black folks completely, many are holding them back to a strictly sexual position. If you don't find an entire race of people attractive, especially on a romantic/intimate level, that is racism you have inherited. We are taught what beauty and attraction is, plain and symbol, which is why many people's "preferences" coincide with Eurocentric standards and the hierarchy racism and cultures have created. If it is cultural relatability/connection you are worried or "turned off" by, then grow TF up. They're in the same country as you after all. Get over yourself. That has nothing to do with getting to know who a person actually is or even fucking them. You are doing nothing but assuming and discriminating based off their race, and rarely because you see that culture in a positive light as well. That is why your race "preferences" are racist.

Since it's on point with the subject, here's a fun little #FlashbackFriday from Dombeljung.

Again, not white.

it’s pretty shitty of you to invalidate the experiences and voices of other POC who don’t share your views and experiences.

Just an aside but using gifs to punctuate your (non) answers just makes you look queeny and childish. You must be between about 18-23 lol

Sweetie,

A few receipts (screenshots of racist actions on Grindr) related to your topic will help keep the conversation moving forward and prevent people from using shade, sarcasm to diminish your point.
