I have an interesting observation. I see many guys in the gym taking photographs in their underwear (boxers/boxer briefs only) and they would fold their underwear to show their quad gains, and bigger legs, glute gains, etc... which is perfectly fine. their folded underwear look exaclty like briefs/bikini briefs..but funny part, when these same guys see anyone in his briefs, automatically assume he's gay... i can't really understand on this earth the reason behind that. can someone please explain?

I'm straight and I find that assumption completely dumb
I mean, there are briefs and there are briefs. If they're the kind you'd only be able to find in a sex shop, or ar too stringy, or made in a more clingy fabric, I would assume it's mostly for showing off, because they're probably not that comfortable – and give the setting you're talking about, they'd most likely be showing off to other men.
But if we're talking just regular briefs, then it's just a matter or personal taste and comfort, totally unrelated to your sexual preferences.

I was the same way, but I don’t care anymore what anyone thinks. Yes I’m wearing a red thong. I’m going to take it off, take a shower and put on a clean white thong. I have had guys just sit there on a bench and watch my whole process. This has happened multiple times. I think the first time it happened, especially when they compliment you, it feels weird. Now I just laugh it off and sometimes get a semi for them.

Just do it and give it a try. It’s a fun way to unwind after a workout and a cheap thrill. If they’re watching you, they’re into you and that’s a compliment.

Underwear is pointless. If you want to see/photograph your body don't cover it up. I've seen guys go to exacting lengths arranging their shorts or briefs just so to get the perfect minimal "coverage" in the locker room mirror. It's funny if you think about how silly the shenanigans are.

I 100% agree that underwear choice is and should be unrelated to your sexual orientation and these should not be linked together, and yes, i was talking about regular brief underwears but in my experience, people around me just straightaway think any man wearing briefs must be gay as they think only women should be allowed to wear skimpy clothing and show as much as they want.. and by the way, you mentioned about briefs which would be smaller than regular briefs, a thing comes to my mind, even if somebody likes to wear tanga briefs or thongs, why should be declared gay, when we do not declare any woman wearing thongs or skimpy underwear as lesbian, so why this different lens for both?

i think nobody whether men or women should be deemed gay/lesbian just because of their underwear.. and i think women are not judged, its only men who are judged.

Look who's doing the declaring. The str8 white males who are so insecure that they feel the need to knock down those who are different so he doesn't have to put in the effort to better himself. Who cares what they think?
