Well we should enjoy him on HOTD for as long as he lasts, witch from what I've read on Reddit probably will be just this season. It appears the producers are looking for extras with archery skills and that probably means they're shooting the Battle of the Gullet, and anybody who read the books know that Jace dies that way.
