Hasan piker

Why was my post about his defense of anti-Semitic tropes deleted for being off-topic? How was that off-topic? It pertains to his character. Would a post calling out the subject of a thread for defending racism be removed? @Mr. LPSG

Maybe take it up with Mr. LPSG in private instead of trying to derail the thread?

Can y’all please stop defending and thirsting over this asshole? He has a history of misogyny and making inflammatory remarks. Now he’s defending the use of anti-Semitic tropes to criticize Israel. I have Jewish ancestry and ancestors who died in the Holocaust, yet I hate Netanyahu and believe Israel is currently an apartheid state that is committing genocide and war crimes against the Palestinians. Criticizing the Israeli government is not anti-Semitism. However, invoking anti-Semitic tropes, such as Jews controlling the world’s media and wealth, to criticize Israel is anti-Semitic. Hasan defended the Pakistani Foreign Minister’s use of these tropes in response to a Tweet by Bianna Golodryga of CNN, who is Jewish herself. Jews know better than anyone what anti-Semitic tropes are. And saying that Israel “controls the media” through its “connections” conflates Jews with Israelis. It assumes that all Jews who work in the media support Israel. Also, the AP was pressured by American conservatives, not Israelis, to fire the reporter Hasan is referring to. If you’re gonna defend anti-Semitism, at least get your facts straight.

Here’s a clip of the interview in which the Pakistani Foreign Minister invoked anti-Semitic tropes to criticize Israel rather than (rightfully) criticizing Israel for a million other legitimate reasons:

And then Hasan had the nerve to “denounce” anti-Semitism with the following Tweet:

MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan, who is Muslim and a progressive, denounced the Pakistani Foreign Minister’s use of anti-Semitic tropes because unlike Hasan Piker, he’s not a bad person or an extremist:

It really isn’t that difficult to criticize Israel without using or defending the use of anti-Semitic tropes. Hasan Piker is just trash and has always been trash. Wake up and stop thirsting over this asshole!

Oh god gtfo of here with that bs. He's not an antisemite for criticizing the israeli government and that is not what we're here for. that's for spamming the thread with huge screenshots of bs. this is not a political forum, we're here for the goods

you really thought you did something huh

my dick doesn't care if he's an antisemite or not

Was US media flooded with news and stories about how THEIR money, how THEIR weapons, how THEIR enablement of everything Israel does has (IN THE LAST 10-14 DAYS ALONE) destroyed hundreds of families, thousands of injuries, few hundred dead children, left thousands homeless and deprived of food water or access to medicine....? No?? Most of the world news organizations kept their mouths fucking shut about how the US profits billions off Israel genociding Palestinians?

no...? Then literally shut up with the whole "saying jews control media is antisemitism" sure rhe phrasing may be stupid but he's not jusr randomly spreading hatred against a people, ans even if he was, probably not worse than FUCKING GENOCIDE lmao

I love how pointing out how Hasan has used antisemitic tropes recently is somehow “off topic”, but talking about the isreal-Palestine conflict somehow isn’t? Is this a thread for politics or Hasan’s booty? If it’s the latter then let’s ALL stfu about the Middle East conflict, instead of telling people to shut up about it then filling the entire next page with your opinions on the issue.

Because it's not twitter. Noone here wants to be lectured about who they fap to. On everyone thread someone who doesn't seem to get what this site is attacks or demeans people for thirsting after some "problematic" guy (everyone is problematic including yourself, because humans are shit)

The site you're looking for where you can comdem people again, is twitter. Noone here cares what a hot guy has said or done. ‍♂️.

You can't just look down upon people for finding someone attractive or decide someone's canceled and expect people not to look at their pics if they are hot. Maybe on twitter people will pretend that's how the world is, but not here. www.twitter.com there you go :)
