He has posted videos in the past of him using solariums. Hopefully it was just a lead up to a competition and not a regular thing, everyone knows the dangers of them now days. But his body, his choice either way.

As another poster said above. People who tan in the sun heaps do not age well. They have wrinkles in their 20s. And end up with walnut looking skin that feels leathery and looking twice their age in the face. All the guys I know who are aging well are the ones who more often than not, always pale.

The shade in the pictures above looks to be a bronzer/fake body building tan anyway. Anything with a bronze or orange glow is pretty much that.

At least he tans his face to match his body for the competitions unlike the other guys who tan their bodies and leave their faces looking like vampires. All that work to look horrible in pics

But they will spray him with the fake stuff when the time comes. Why does he need to actually darken his skin for that. It won't do him any good but make him look awful when he's not in competition. There you go trying to make excuses for this. The competitions do not require their models to actually tan or even do so in advance when they will spray them with their own material.

Nearly everyone in bodybuilding competitions does it. They have to do it, because it brings out the definition of all the muscles more. A big part of what they get judged on. He isn't doing it just for the sake of it. It fades away after a week, no big deal. Can see in the latest pics above, that his body is back to a natural look.
