Well I don't know if he is a Trump supporter, altho there used to be a bug where if you like a quoted tweet it showed you liking the tweet that is quoting. So for instance if he liked a tweet that quoted Trump and said something bad and Hayes liked it, then the Trump tweet would show up in the likes and not the quote.

It was a strange bug that I had only noticed when a friend asked me why I was liking Trump's tweets knowing how much I hate the man.

Conversely, supporting Bernie in 2016 does not mean he did not also or then proceeded to support Trump.

That’s the big appeal I think... he’s the boy next door... goofy, harmless, slight good ol boy accent even though you live in the suburbs, and always good to his momma... and you can’t help stare out the window when he spends all day riding his dirt bike or mowing the lawn on the weekend with nothing but sneakers and basketball shorts. He’ll stop to help someone elderly take in the groceries or chase off a bully picking on a kid. He’s not the sexiest or smartest guy around but when you see him wave to you after he just got done playing basketball with sweat dripping down every part of his body and you make an awkward wave back and say something like “hot today, huh?” and he pretends not notice your eyes scanning him while he just just winks, throws a cheeky smile and head’s off....

That’s the kind of dude you can fall for HARD (and wank to feverishly over and over).
