I expect in a fit of rage he might have crumpled them and tore them, but the photos are beautiful. I love seeing this man in a suit and then looking so different, so innocent, so vulnerable in his briefs. He gives off an entirely different aura like this, and Bacon accurately captured some of this in his paintings of him.
