Even as late as WWII some sailors had to sleep in hammocks. With these three I could put up with it.

When at sea for extended periods working 12 on 12 off, you always try to catch a nap whenever and where ever you can.

When I was a kid, I used to go the a YMCA in Worcester Mass, that looked just like this one. The light fixtures had been modernized, but the rest was the same. I always like running around the track not the second deck.
