Photos & Videos Hook (aew)

Hook and Jungle Boy had a wild match against Preston Vance and Dralistco. Hook ended up wearing some of Preston Vance's blood after Hook wrapped a chain around his arm and hand and jumped off the security railing and hit Vance in the face. Hook later hit a suplex and on Vance and both of them went through a table.

It's not long term booking if they aren't paired together for months and then randomly are. Long term booking is The Bloodline stuff. I will wait to see what happens but it often seems like Tony just changes his mind on a whim.

Maybe this is long term booking pair them up have them team for awhile I say by the end of summer jungle boy will turn on hook and they will have a story booked feud/rivalry in the fall.
I have a strange feeling that they might go for Tag Team titles. It seems like something that the crowd would be behind.

Seriously that's the only long term story they've done since like the 90s, yeah it's been a fantastic story but name me 3 or 4 others in
WWE. Credit where it's due, but let's not pretend it's something that has been consistent previously (and now Vince is back, changes aplenty since, again).

I am not saying WWE are good at it outside of that. They drag most lengthy storylines on for far too long (see Edge vs Judgment Day) or have short storylines no one gets invested in. I want both companies to put on a great product but I am not blind to either company's flaws like many fans who prefer one over the other seem to be.

Oh I totally agree, and let's be honest they're never going to get it right 100% of the time. AEW had some great stories, but they're in a bit of a lull at the moment when they sent slightly TNA and signed ex-WWE aplenty.

People want the Attitude Era back, but they forget that a lot of the storylines and gimmicks were utter garbage, it's a very rose tinted glasses view. Really, we only remember Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, Mick Foley and Triple H from them and the war against the McMahons. Outside of that, a lot was forgettable.

I'm just glad we have a big rival again, but it will never get to the level of the 90s again, but let's hope both do better going forward.

The people who want the Attitude era back don't seem to understand that it was the talent that made the era not the storylines or rating. At no other time in wrestling history have there been so many legit main event guys who could realistically become champion on any given night together in the same place. Neither company right now has that kind of main event scene. WWE have focused too much time on one guy, first Cena and now Reigns, to the point no one else feels close to them and AEW doesn't really seem to be able to build those stars or capitalise on wrestlers who start to get over on their own.

Hopefully things change and pick up and a guy like Hook, gets a shot to do something decent for a good bit of time rather than having his storyline or pairing dropped for seemingly no reason.
