I was reading on Twitter that he looked very good. He might be one of AEW's brightest stars of the future.

Yes, he really surprised me at least. I definitely loved that he included some signature Tazz suplexes and he also adopted his father's submission finisher which is cool.

I was not overly attracted to him until I saw him wrestle in person. He definitely has some natural charisma to him.

I'm (pleasantly) surprised they didn't have him wrestle in his tank top tshirt. I figured it'd be that and jeans for consistency with his character. Fortunately AEW doesn't pay too much attention to logic with their creative lol. It's part of their charm. The ultimate for me is if they had him turn babyface and have a long series of matches getting clobbered by, but beating, Hobbs. Long bearhugs. Torture racks.

I know he's been training a lot before the shows. Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Dustin Rhodes, Jerry Lynn and others have been working with him and Arn Anderson's son Brock between shows. He's had some very good coaching leading up to this.
