I commend SDP for this analysis. But I think the problem is that in many of these pictures Mandingo isn’t fully hard, and we are interested in his maximum size not in the average of his erect range. So if the study came out the average of all his erect pics are 8.7 and in most of them he is not fully hard, then it’s safe to say he is a flat 9 when at 100% erection.

When estimating penis length from female hands, the biggest issue is camera angle: the whole length of the penis must stay at the exact same distance from the camera, or the results will be dramatically skewed, especially when the reference is at either end of the penis.

Finding usable pictures is not easy, and even though I believe my method is reliable, there is still a lot of room for error in individual estimations, so the results will only get meaningful when I've done a good number of them.
I will do this little by little, so please bear with me.

My hand breadth: 91mm

I will assume that all female performers have average hand size, and that the same 74/91 ratio can be applied to all hand features.

For each picture I will put my hand in the exact same position as the girl on a similarly shaped graduated object, measure the distance between the two most relevant points, translate that measurement to average female, and deduce the penis length.

I'm completely open to constructive criticism of my methodology

There are also lots of results well over 9" which are not more realistic than 7.81, should we remove those too?
It can be argued that he might not be at his full size in every pic, but it can be argued too that most of the girls have hands way smaller than average, and that gives him a much bigger advantage in the big picture than the slight disadvantage from not always being 100% erect.
