Hot "ID This Guy" Consolidated Thread 3.0

In the case of Lenso.ai in particular, they've now plastered watermarks on all free search result photos and those watermarks cover about 50% of the images, which makes it harder for other AI reverse image search tools to detect faces if you wanted to run Lenso.ai's photos through PimEyes or other tools to get more results. PimEyes is hardly any better now either since their big white watermark tends to obscure faces as well.

Watermarks aside, Lenso.ai had been a decent tool for finding porn star content last year since they only charged about $8 for 50 search results, but now they've doubled the price.
Wow I didn’t know that’s how it worked, That sucks. Thanks for explaining. Do they take the watermarks off if you pay their listed price?

Since technically it’s not their own images they are finding wouldnt that be some type of violation of copyright or something? Like I imagine Getty Images wouldn’t stand for an ai watermark over one of their photos. Or at least I think they wouldn’t.

Can you expand on this please? Why does them watermarking things yield less results? I really am not familiar with the ai finders
sometimes the image we use for reverse search is not very popular, using AI tools we can find more pictures of the same person, and by reverse searching those we are more likely to ID. But with heavy watermarking you cannot reverse search those images anymore, if you fail to find an ID using the clean pictures you have the search is over.
