I thought that already happened in 2018. It was bought out by a big porn industry mogul and that's when the platform really took off for self-made porn. Before that it was more like Patreon.

You're probably right, I didn't look that deep into OF's history. Before the pandemic, I had hopes that OF would be a fad that would die.

I'm open to continue subscribing to a very select few content creators (ones that I am just absolutely in love with and could care less how dull the content is as long as there is nudity), but overall I think I'll delete my account once my subs run out.

To throw more salt on the wound, I noticed that at least where I live, OnlyFans has began collecting sales tax. Which on one hand makes content more expensive and makes me not want to purchase, and on the other hand it gives me ammo to fire back at content creators and tell them I'm not paying sales tax to look at their wiener.

Yeah, my original intent last year was to do the same, completely stop dealing with the platform. But by reducing the amount I spend/guys i'm subscribed to, i'm making baby steps I guess

I probably won't delete my account though since there'a a lot of free profiles out there as well as guys who i've subscribed to in the past giving me free week/month long subs to their main accounts. I actually use to have a lpsg account around 2015-2019, but I ended up leaving here because the onlyfans agenda that this site has been pushing is fueling bad money spending habits and porn addictions. Even when you're about to sign up you get asked if you'll ever spend money on onlyfans...lol.

When I was a active member here, I had about 15 subscriptions, but that was because these performers would try to persuade and seduce you into buying a subscription. I can recall a few onlyfans performers that messaged me directly and promised me a whole bunch of shit I'd subscribe.

After losing my job in 2018 and realizing how much money I spent on that scam site, I decided to up and leave lpsg for good since it's now became a hot spot for performers to promote their page. ( Take a look in this thread and see how they swarm in here to change the topic so we can all go subscribe to their page lol.)

If you are like me and you couldn't stop spending money on onlyfans, please find your triggers and cut them out for a while (or for good) so your brain can rewire it's self. These models don't care about you, they only want your money.

(And before you ask why I'm back, I just wanted to see how things have been around here, gonna delete my account in a few.)
