How to get away with a Hook up on a Work Trip

Hi everyone, I’m a guy who’s about to start traveling a lot for work (I’m Italian and will be traveling around Europe). I’m not out at work and don’t plan to be, but I’d like to take advantage of these trips to have some fun and hook up without being noticed by colleagues or travel companions.

I thought I’d start this thread to gather some advice, maybe even hear some of your stories. For instance, I’m wondering how to handle hosting someone at the hotel (is it generally allowed?) or some subtle techniques to slip away without raising suspicion. Let’s discuss! Let me know your thoughts, and maybe I’ll share how it goes later .

Hook-up apps are good. Also hanging out at the hotel bar if they have one can sometimes lead to some interesting conversations and flirting. As in any other situation, you just have to watch out for and respond with the right signals lest you find yourself with someone really not into it. Hotel gyms - again if they're available - can also be good.

Depends on the hotel, but most receptions do not monitor who comes and goes. So unless your intended visitor is obviously dressed provocatively, there shouldn't be a problem. Some hook up apps have a section allowing you to create a meeting. You can put the hotel name and city in there, then use DMs to give any interested ones the times, room number and so on. I had a nice three way using this feature on the fabguys app.

My favourite hotel for this kind of hook up is one of the no frills type, common in the UK for business travellers. The town centre one I use a lot has the added advantage that the elevator is accessible by anyone at street level, and the reception floor can be bypassed completely. I put the hotel name on fabguys and when I get any DMs from verified users with pics I give them the room number. Mostly it's just one guy, but on this one occasion there were a couple who showed up. There was wine and poppers and lots of fucking. We all got on really well. I felt sorry for the cleaners in the morning, that bedding took a hammering....and I got very little sleep!

I travel 1-2x a month for work domestically and I actively try to at least suck a cocl or two every time. I'm unaware of what dating apps are popular in Europe, but I'm active on ones here in the US and I usually do well enough to where I now have a few hookups I can call in about 12 cities and counting.

As another of the very rare straight men on here on LPSG, how did that work for you, specifically. When I was single and before cell phones, Adult Friend Finder was essentially the only option, and it was 99.9% guys, guys pretending to be women, or 300+ lb women (sorry not my thing). You were actually able to hookup with real women using Tinder?

Honestly it worked out quite well, i wasn't too picky and swiped everything 19-60 then took my pick. I will say i had more luck when i was travelling, as mentioned i'd put something in there about only being in town for a few days, i think the idea that they'd never have to see you again would make them a little more inclined to let loose, that combined with hotel sex resulted in some very fun times
