I made a wooden one...a 54 inch high 30 inch wide piece of 1/2 inch thick finished plywood. There are four barrel bolt latches, two each side spaced near top and bottom so I can easily latch it in the door frame (from the inside)...I had to drill small holes in the side of the door frame for the bolts to slide into (it's a condo so I don't have to worry about the landlord)...the hole is 4 inches in diameter, cut with a hole saw and mandrel (attaches to my drill) and then I slipped a pvc closet flange in the hole to cover the edges. Just so happens my pullup bar is above it providing handles for those inclined to grab onto something as I work 'em over. Start to finish including the trip to Lowes was about 4 hours.
As for 'customers' I am starting slow...having guys I have a connection to first off...break the thing in...and see what I get from a few postings I put on Squirt. Of course any dudes on LPSG would be more than welcome, but the security thing is a feature not a bug...and so I have a quandary about that. I do NOT intend to have a revolving door as it is, and that would be a concern for my neighbors prolly.
