No, but seriously, there’s not much he can do. He needs to disappear and get some serious mental health treatment. Nothing about this was reasonable, sensible, logical, or even sane. Some minimize what he did, but there are too many stories of people self-harming after being outed to act like what he did was acceptable. This was dangerous and could’ve been tragic if Khalid was not prepared for that.

But the REAL reason things totally blew up against him was his attitude afterward! The non-apology! The lack of real accountability! His apology/explanation amounted to being mad about an accusation from five years ago and finding out their private mutual friends had known? Senseless. His excuse was basically: “the ugly guy I used to date made me mad, so I did it”. And then he doubled down by saying he would do it again. At this point, what can he do or say that doesn’t look like pitiful damage control from a deranged porn flop? Not much.

The best damage control when you’ve gone scorched earth to this extent is to just sit down somewhere and let the gherls drag you until they get tired. And, in the mean time, he needs some REAL, significant therapy, because something is not well with him mentally.

Eventually, we’ll all get of our soap boxes in the next few days. But, the real work is his to do, because this is not the first time he’s done or said some crazy shit. He is obviously an extremely damaged person who needs to do some real self-work. But in the mean time, the online dragging he’s getting is deserved, especially since he stoked the flames of it by his behavior and attitude and afterward, and he’ll just have to cross that bridge.
