I kinda feel you on this. Not his specifically but veneers in general. Or super white teeth. Teeth should be the color of ivory, not plastic.
There aren't many, but of the few pictures of him before he got them he has perfect teeth. After getting his Veneers applied his teeth are still the same shape, level and size as before. Which likely means he got "Lumineers" which are thin laminate glued to the front of teeth to give them that even bright look... He might have gone a bit too white but at least he has all his real healthy teeth in place.
Couldn't he have just had them whitened? Doesn't make much sense to go through all that if they're just gonna be the same shape, level, and size as before.

Teeth aren't perfectly white. For some people it doesn't matter how much money they spend on professional whitening because they will always have a natural yellow tint.
