Photos & Videos Ian Jeffrey

"The nudes" were fake. They were from some other chat site like this (I think it was 4chan) and they LOOK like they're him, but then someone posted a picture right next to it that proved that it was fake. You can see the guy's face and everything. Sadly.

I know which one you talking about. It does look like him but it was someone else on twitter....people kept adding the link to the original person
Yeah. The original was cropped so you can barely see the dude's face and it looks a lot like Ian. But, when you see the original it's very clear it isn't him. I bet he would send to someone though. Just have to find the right baiter lol.

I’m not denying that. It’s just sad.
sad? these people are millionaires before reaching 30, all from sitting in front of a camera babbling for a few minutes.
you know how many people would kill for that? that's why nowadays everyone is trying to be a social media influencer. it's easy money. you don't need to have any talents, you just need to be able to do something that gets people's attention, and you're set for life

That's my point. Social media has some great benefits, but I don't see how you can benefit anybody from posting videos of you doing little to nothing. Like mukbang's don't inspire anybody to do anything. Twitch streams don't inspire anybody to get out and change the world. People are becoming more and more okay with mediocrity, and that's not a good thing. Granted, people that once had "no talent" now have a potential job that they can pursue in being a social media influencer, but I just wish that people would realize that social media is not the end all be all in our society right now. If anything, I would argue it is used in a more negative way than in positive ways. There is high quality, positive, uplifting, and instructive content out there on YouTube and Instagram and all that, but people don't watch that. They watch vines and cat videos that make people millionaires, only to be washed up and bankrupt in their late 50's because all their money is gone from the videos they made when they were younger and so they're washed up. It's a reality, and it's very discouraging to me.

That's just my opinion. I'm not saying you're right or you're wrong, I'm just saying we need to start being a tad bit more productive with social media, especially when it opens the door to be so positive and vocal about so many causes that, quite frankly, the world is ignoring right now. Okay, sorry, rant over. Back to the thread.

i don't pay attention to these people so they can promote causes.
i pretty much avoid those type of people. i don't want my twitter and ig feeds to be filled with political stuff or shit about charities. i wanna see things that i find entertaining and dudes i find hot.
if i wanted to see that depressing shit, i'd turn on a news channel.
for most of us, social media isn't about being connected to the world and be in touch with everything that's happening, it's about entertainment. i follow on ig dudes i find hot, so when i open the app, i see things i like. on twitter, i also follow hot dudes, and also porn actors, and youtubers, and celebrities, who's posts mostly consist of mundane aspects of their lives and being thots.
i'm not gonna watch some guy's documentary on the ice caps melting, or the amazon forest fires, or the koalas in australian burning to death, because if i don't wanna see that on mainstream media, i don't wanna see it on the internet either. are they awful things that have happened/are happening to the world? yes, but i've only ever used the internet to escape how shit the world is, not so i can be constantly reminded of it.
in the words of avenue q "the internet is for porn", i.e., the internet has a lot to offer and you can do all type of serious things with it, like getting informed about serious topics, doing your taxes, communicating with people from other parts of the world and learning about their lifestyle and culture, but it's also what people use as a source of entertainment and escapism, and there's nothing bad about that, because people already have to live in their shitty reality for most of the day, so just let them do stuff that clears their mind from it and not have a mental breakdown over all the bad things going on with the world.
(and this is the last post i'm making on the matter, because i can tell someone else is gonna pop up in a bit complaining about the "off topic" discussion and how they're annoyed about getting notifications thinking it's hot pics and it's just walls of text)

I do think this was a tad off the point I was making, but I agree. So as to avoid people being upset (even though this thread is dry as the sahara,) i'm stopping as well.
