To each his own-but I say briefs rock. Especially the horizontal fly like my Tommy John’s…
that's the point which really surprises me, that somehow underwear length of men is associated with their sexuality but this rule doesn't apply for women, women are not considered straight or lesbian based on the length of their underwear, or are they, if yes please let me know, and then i think it would be easier for me to understand that its a cultural thing here.. because i have seen in many other countries, most men wearing briefs and bikini briefs as well, and there it's not considered gay and the few ones who wear boxer briefs or longer underwears, they are also not considered anything different.. in short, underwear style is not connected to sexuality...so, want to understand how come western culture ties men's underwear (and not women's) to sexuality..I get where you are coming from, I won't say its stigma but they've grown unpopular over the years. They used to be main style of undies for men back in the day, thats why its more common for older men. Boxer briefs and other similar styles have fast become the norm. Yes I hardly see men wear them in gym locker rooms except like soccer players which I think they wear it because of the support it gives. From my experience I think briefs are still very much a thing amongst gay men. Yes most gay men wear briefs or own a few pairs at least lol
As a straight guy with a thong fetish (and I don’t wear my male-thongs all the time)
I can honestly say I know 100% there is a stigma regarding thong underwear and sexuality, but never have I heard or been aware of any such regarding briefs
I recently joined a local gym and have been surprised how many men wear briefs. I go during the day and the general age is higher than in the evenings. I’ve found at least 30 and maybe as high as 60% of those 55+ wear briefs. I was a bit worried about being the ‘odd one out’ but have been pleased to see many others.I get where you are coming from, I won't say its stigma but they've grown unpopular over the years. You really shouldn't be bating at home. It's a sin, and you'll go blind, and then you'll have to do the only proven cure: bating in public.I grew up wearing briefs and I really prefer them even though I own and wear other styles. I really like low-rise undies with a fly front so I can pull my dick out the front when I bate at home. (Around other baters, of course, I wind up naked for sure.)
The main pic in my profile is a pair like I describe and here's a shot of THE SAME pair as I like to wear when I bate.
I agree about boxer briefs but I would never sneer at a guy wearing tighty whities. Like you, I was raised with them. Why would you sneer?I like the support that briefs provide, and I think boxer briefs are an abomination. I was raised in "fly-front" tighty-whities. Today, I might sneer at a grown man wearing fly-front briefs
I just made a similar thread to this one. I, too, suffer from stigma agaisnt briefs. I beleive they are the best kind of undies for guys but for some reason they are regarded as childish, so when boys start their teen, or maybe even preteen, years, they are expected to do the switch from briefs to boxers or boxerbriefs. I was personally socially pressured and even by my mom, but I still prefer the tight briefs that make my butt and bulge look so yummy. Even more, I prefer briefs with cartoons or cool, silly patterns on themfellow men, i want to hear from you that if there's any stigma associated with wearing briefs as i have experienced some people giving me strange looks n sometimes bad comments even when they find out i wear briefs like in locker room etc. Also, i hardly see any other men wearing briefs (most people i see wear boxers, boxers briefs, long johns, underwears that go upto knees ect) although briefs is also a type of underwear and all brands offer this style. I am not saying others should wear briefs just because i like them, all i am asking is if briefs have some stigma attached to them and if yes, what could be the reasons, i may be mistaken though..
