“Partner” lmao why is hard to say girlfriend. There’s enough words to differentiate relationships between friend, date, gf, fiance, wife. It minimizes/generalizes relationship, like a partner at work but no relationship with them, which is redundant cuz obviously if you’re with someone you’re supposed to help each other out as a whole. And if you’re trying to hide the gender, kinda pointless when you say ‘she’ later, I don’t get it someone enlighten me

For me the main thing is people can call themselves whatever they want. It used to be a key part of the queer mentality to celebrate differences but nowadays it's the gays who loves to create mundane reasons to judge or feel superior.
