Does anyone remember years ago the BelAmi website had a Q&A section with a featured model of the month? Or maybe it was a model of the week. It's always intrigued me that when Lukas Ridgeston (now 47) and that first generation of Bel Ami stars were born under Communist regimes, "gay porn star" would never have been a career possibility. I'm sure "straight porn star" wasn't either. Same would be said for even the next generation (Kris Evans, from Hungary, at 35 and Ariel Vanean at 32). Jack Harrer was born in a democratic Slovakia, which had just separated amicably from democratic Czech Republic.

Besides which there have always been straight guys in gay porn, and there always will be. Whether it's a good thing or not is another question, but don't kid yourself that it hasn't always been this way.
