Yeah I was just realizing the other day "chav" has no US/Canadian equivalent because, unlike Britiain, these are not "old class-based" societies; unlike the Hispanic American countries. We do have an equivalent for chav in Mexico (chacal), in Chile (flaite), and likely everywhere else but I only know those two

To me he looks like any other Irish dude. I thought chavs wear tracksuits and caps and are racist. I also thought the word is classist

A lot of British actors seem to come from privileged backgrounds, it's always nice to see actors like Jack and Barry Keoghan make it big there despite harder upbringings. It's not as commonplace as it is in the States. If you look at a lot of famous British actors' wikipedias they went to very rich schools and came from rich families
