Somehow, it does. Just like David Dobrik's case, he's making the bulk of his income right now through snapchat. A reason he stopped vlogging was because Youtube wasn't paying him anymore after the new ads guidelines. Making like 100+ snapchat stories in a day is making him enough money to continue the life he was living when Youtube vlogs were still around.

Many influencers say that Snapchat has the best pay. Apparently they pay like 50% of ad revenue to creators. That's why a lot of content creators just spam photos on Snapchat
