He tried to link up with her for clout. Don’t read anything into it. It’s more likely he’s a toy boy for rich fashion dudes. That’s why he’s got those dead eyes and empty smile lol
I feel like he and that German “boyband/content group” he is in have definitely given off industry homo vibes

Right bc seriously does anyone actually listen to their music or are they just being paraded around Hollywood and sold to the highest bidder?
I mean they definitely have a massive international following of teenage girls giving them likes attention & inevitable endorsement money. But I just feel their whole schtick is being physically appealing to hetero women, when in reality they’re giving off very strong man on man vibes. It’s interesting lol and simultaneously hot.

i mean this in itself is just as appealing to hetero teenage girls. I'm sure they intentionally play up those "homo bro vibes" specifically for their core audience. It's not that contradictory :joy:

You may be onto something lol I was thinking the remind me of *NSYNC and nineties boybands, and that certainly worked out for them lol

And we all know the stories about their managers, producers and Hollywood agents that have since come to light. It’s a trade-off. As if a designer pays thousands to fly someone like Jacob in and host him simply to sit in his show. We all know his followers could never afford the products - so what’s in it for these old affluent men?

With *NSYNC it was actually just their manager that they accused of slightly inappropriate conduct with OTHER bands he was managing. Not them specifically, Lance Bass specifically spoke about it on record/on camera.
I’ve worked in LA agencies before, and I’m not so into the whole all of Hollywood being a secret brothel conspiracy theories, they boys do have a genuine large following. It’s about general public brand visibility(in terms of having them front row) not direct sales. Same goes for all the celebrities sitting front row at fashion week shows. So I can understand why they’re flying to events, being paid very little, in exchange for free press.
I just think they definitely lean harder into lgbtq+ images for the appearance & marketing of it more than they actually are.

It’s definitely some lowkey kink/fetish lol anyone with millions of followers that’s being accused of being an escort but does NOT have at the least an OF are probably being wrongfully accused because someone gets hard imagining being able to pay for them lmao *shrug*

You’re probably right, then again I am looking at this from a purely transactional perspective. What’s in it for the brands when they hire these good looking fellas with absolutely no talent? Like I’m seriously interested - what will that do for your brand. You’re not being associated with the voice of a singer, the stage presence of an actor, or the power of an athlete, but with someone who plays pretend and does karaoke on TikTok with a fan base who cannot afford your stuff.
I look at the DSquared designers and the dudes they keep hiring for their shows and I see the exact thing that’s been going on with Hollywood starlets for decades ‍♂️

NOT saying there’s anything wrong with that if it’s consensual. Get that bag, Jacob, looks fade.

It’s literally just brand visibility, that’s what’s in it for the designers. The fashion labels are owned by a corporate conglomerate that wants a return on its investment, so it needs press, eyes, and media attention on the brands it’s selling. A large part of that in today’s world is social media advertisement, which includes influencers. Marketing 101, “all press is good press “. Eyeballs=Dollars.

They’re not trying to get their clothes seen by the people who will buy them, the people who can afford that price point of clothing are going to have pieces from those labels presented to them by a stylist, shopper, or personal sales associate in a high end department store. And whatever subconscious association that person has with the brand will play a large part in determining whether or not they buy it. No blouse actually costs 750$+ to make and sell, it’s just the status associated with the brand. Having high end influential people (wealthy non famous people, beautiful people, celebs, influencers) associated with a brand publicly in any media forum will benefit the brand and sell more clothes.

And images posted on social media get reposted all over the web in a million diff ways, so people interested in buying will usually end up seeing that pretty influencers at the show for a luxury label in Elle, vogue, GQ, fashion blogs or on the brands Instagram page itself. Trust me, it’s extremely beneficial to fashion brands to have beautiful people with millions of media followers at their shows. Those boys are making high 6-7 figures a year for their public appearances. They don’t need to resort to sex work.

Gay baiting on their pages for increased views and therefore pay quote for their next endorsement deal or appearance fee however is very much in their wheelhouse lol
