I think what’s surprising (maybe the wrong word) is how quickly @joecorso entered into a gay relationship after the breakup. Also how he changed his appearance , mustache , blonde hair etc when there’s no photos of him appearing like this in his past (actually he was always very “square, safe or straight in his appearance”) before late 2022. And only straight friends, couples etc on his socials. Now it’s only gay friends parties etc. It’s like he jumped head first into the gay world overnight at 30.

His father's facebook page (now private) suggests someone who is very conservative.
While he could be bisexual, my guess is Joe grew up in a family where it was made clear being gay was a bad thing and thus he tried to live life on the straight and narrow (so to speak) until he finally came to terms with who he was.
Only speculation of course, won't know more unless he or Jake talk about how they met.

That’s my gut feeling also. Late 20’s and 30’s is a very common age for such guys to come out after years of trying to repress it.

Yup.
As you said, the shocker isn't in him coming out, it's how fast he jumped into a same sex relationship and that it's still going strong a year and a couple of months later.
Maybe due to the fact he's a little older the urge to sow your oats isn't as strong as it would be if you came out at 21 etc.
Also a surprise that both he and his ex still have photos of them up together.
You would think those would be long gone by now.

Obviously if they have no hard feelings about the break up then there wouldn't be any reason to remove them.

True but damn that must be a tough pill to swallow for her as they were together for years and then just months after they broke up he’s in another relationship….with a man !!! I would seriously question everything in that situation. Like was any of it real…was he having gay affairs behind my back, was the sex faked, did I waste years of my life …

He could have genuinely loved her. 1) even some gay men admit to having at least romantic affection for female exes. Or 2) he could be bisexual
