New products are actually available on the English site, it's just that certain products are exclusive to the Japanese site.

For example, products with the "CRUISING" label, a series of straight videos where the model gets to fuck a woman, will always be available to purchase on both sites. However, the "MOTONARI" label, a gay series highlighting fetishism, is Japan-exclusive.

So, is there a way to register an account on the Japanese website? Not by normal means, but possible with the help of a capable VPN app (I use TunnelBear #thisisnotsponsored). Try setting your location to Japan while you register (and that includes the step when you have to click the confirmation link sent to your email address). Good luck.

I had my (EU) card rejected before. Was going to try some virtual cards from Japan, but never got around to it, would be interested to know if any actually works...?

I don't know how else to interpret this selective access (if any, depending on the studio) other than stereotypical Japanese xenophobia, which is confusing, because you'd think gay porn industry in a country as conservative as Japan would try to be more inclusive than most.

Actually I've been using my regular credit card .

I forgot to mention, a couple of months ago they have announced that they don't accept credit cards with VISA logo until further notice. So I just use the one with MasterCard logo instead.

I'm not aware of any LPSG user doing translation, but every now and then someone brings stuff they find somewhere else. Since most jgv-related stuff on lpsg are in this thread, you can try searching it for "translation", "subtitles" and such.

In the old days there used to be a somewhat active JGV community on tumblr and people would post translated scripts or actual subtitled scenes.
Since the great purge of Tumblr happened it's very hard to find things in any reliable way, but if you search hard enough you can find lingering stuff here and there, like here and here.

ive been playing around with some sites to see how good they are. they only do 4-10 min preview before you need to sign up.

its a double job because first you need to get a transcript of the audio, and then translate from Japanese to English.

1. Censoring was Ai-removed.
2. Videos that were made to be sold abroad.

While the latter is not very common in Japanese porn these days, it's not so rare in straight porn.
