Not trying to be biased or to defend my husband here, but was it really considered a flop in terms of G@MES monthly sales tho? The exact number of sales is not transparent, they just have rankings.

Shoei's "Colors" was reportedly ranked number 1 when it first made its release in March 2024.

Although it fell down to number 4 in the following month, April 2024.

But do you know what else has the same pattern? Almost EVERY other product, that have ranked 1st in its release month, would curiously placed 4th in the next one.

So all of this ranking system is obviously just a gimmick, a marketing strategy on behalf of G@MES themselves. Rank 1, 2 & 3 would always be the 3 newest releases in the respective month. LOL.

As for "Colors RED ~Shoei~" itself I think it's more of a disappointment in term of content for certain people. They had higher expectation. Shoei's performance & the final product weren't enough, which I totally understand.

COAT has typically a rather faster paced route offered to their models, LOL. Unlike G@MES who usually sets a slow pattern for their str8 newcomers (models do several str8 works first like "Cruising", then slowly getting gay serviced with "Dick Interview", "Str8 Examination Room" finally going full gay in "Str8 Limit Interview", and so on).

Then again, the release dates don't always match the sequence of the recording date tho.

It's always strange to me that, unlike COAT or KO, the directors at G@MES/HUNK-Ch very rarely pair their own popular models with each other. Sure, there are some series like "Businessmen in Love" & some rare one timed ones like "Lotion Wrestling Fight" where they would actually do this. But most of the time, the gogglemen/uncles would choose to make it about themselves & keep these straight babies to themselves as well .
