Yes, only by some.
Yet, some people are making a drama out of everything whilst other still prefer the word gypsy (tsigan) in its original form without going into a stupid delusional depression or anger. And those who prefer the word gypsy hate the word romani - rrom means man, human. It's like one romanian shouldn't call himself romanian, but om. Like a English man should call himself a man, not Englishman. Or a French dude would rather have him called homme. Stupid.

I just didn't want people to get confused, since many confuse Romani with Romanian, and since he is Romanian by nationality, people can get confused by that, since not many know the difference. I have many Romani friends from Romania and they use the word all the time but I understand if not all Romani are ok with others using that word so I apologize for that.
