I don’t want to generalize but Jared is a Romani (Gypsy), not to be confused with Romanian, he is a Romani from Romania, which is not the same as being a ethnic Romanian (European)…… Romani people are found everywhere in Europe since they came thousands of years ago from India, there are Spanish Romani, Serbian Romani, Bulgarian Romani etc, but to the point, I’m familiar with them since I have many Romani friends and many of them have the same story, some abandoned by their mothers, others by their fathers and many others by both parents, I’m not saying that all of them are abandoned by their parents but they do tend to get rid of their children very fast, many forced to marry while still being teenagers also, so it’s not surprising to see many of them trying to survive by themselves at a young age, I believe Jared when he said that he was by his own by the time he was 14, but I would describe his story as one that made it, his is a successful story.
