He is hands down major film star hot. It's honestly a tragedy that he didn't break out like that, with all due respect to his TV fame. He should've blown up like Glen Powell and would do so much better. He's extremely good looking, masculine, good actor, tough, funny, sexy, he can pull it off. His career trajectory is off. Deserved to be this generation's Tom Cruise-esque type leading man.
He had the opportunity when he got cast in Rust. That went sideways fast. It was supposed to be his first major movie since Supernatural.

Yeah, on paper that could have been a real shot. I know he auditioned for major Marvel/DC roles, and ironically he looks in his prime now. Soldier Boy elevated him. But still, he only has TV projects lined up.
We'll have to see how Countdown and Vought Rising work out. It's the first option he has to show off his talents as a singular lead actor. He has the backing of Prime Video so he just needs to prove that he can bring in people and make it work

He'll be starring in Prime/MGM movies in no time.
I mean look at this man. Better looking than most movie stars, and certainly more handsome than the crop of "movie stars" from the last handful of years. Not to mention, he legit sounds like a nice guy all around and actually has talent.
I sometimes wonder if he’s struck with the pretty boy curse. Like, he’s devastatingly handsome, and sometimes people can’t relate because of “pretty privilege”
When he was in Dark Angel he was immediately judged as just another pretty boy by Jessica alba, it’s totally plausible that some roles are looking for something a little less…Jensen!

Oh definitely I could’ve seen him as the next Top Gun actor and making blockbusters. If I had a Time Machine I’d go back in time and get his agent to take him seriously
Rob and Rich think it's because they were on CW that no one took them seriously. But also, it helped the boys hone their talents. That if they were on a major network, they probably would've been more famous by now
