I would have cast him in Magic Mike 15 years ago. He seems to be more of a celebrity than he is an actor. Quite very pretty for a man close to 50, he never really made a name for himself as a great actor. He was unbelievably gorgeous as a young actor on Passions.

Jesse also could have just stayed in daytime, on Passions and then did what Galen Gering and Eric Martsolf did, and went to Days of Our Lives as a new (and better written) character. We would have gotten a lot more shirtless scenes out of him.

Same. Him in Magic Mike as a supporting character would have been great! He would have gotten into the best shape of his life and provided us with some of the most memorable shirtless moments of his career.

He’s beautiful, but you’re absolutely right that he NEVER quite made it as an in-demand actor. John Tucker Must Die was a start, but he was 27 playing a teenager and no one was gonna keep casting him as a such as he approached 30.

Very few soap actors become massive superstar actors, but he could have had a stronger acting career if the right roles came along.
