Doesn't matter. Constant DMs are just as annoying and even mass ones are worse than personal constant DMs. do not matter if everyone does it, it is still annoying AF and not a good tactik to get me to buy a video.
Pretty sure there is an option to turn off message notifications. It's in the settings.
