JOCKS WEAR JOCKS! (jock straps)

I will ask our Equipment Manager who does the buying for team sports at my university where he gets our Bike #10 Jockstraps. Have a good one bro!! Later, Diego
Are you serious? He buys Bike 10's for your team?? How?? Where?? Dude, you HAVE to let me know! Thanks

They're probably the new ones. I can't imagine they're buying the vintage ones for a team. If a pic of the waistband and label can be posted, we could know immediately if its the new ones, or vintage.

Oh, certainly they're not really vintage. If his post is true, it'd have to be recent ones. It's just curious to me that anyone is ordering team jockstraps nowadays.
You can get vintage-SYTLE Bikes, kinda, at bikeathletics.com, but I got mine off eBay and Etsy.

I have one of the new #10s. After taking forever to break in and conform, its pretty good. I don't like that the label is an iron on decal... Mine is barely hanging on, and I always wash mine in cold in a net bag, and its never been in the dryer. Also, for the price, you can have 3 Golbergs, and I'd rather have 3 Golbergs than one Bike #10.

While I certainly admire the guys' bodies here, I just find myself a little put off by fashion jocks in vibrant colors. I think, to me, a jockstrap is a symbol of rugged men--which is why football players and others wore them for decades-- and part of the appeal, to me, if that the guys aren't trying to draw attention to themselves or their gear but rather, simply pull on the old-school ones because that's just what you did.
Any self-consciously "Look-at-me!" brightly colored jocks are kind of a turn off.

entirely agree with the other scattered posts about old-school jocks vs today's colorful fashion jocks!!.....the origin of jockstraps was simply to support and protect a man's genitals during rough athletics or various risky activities.....they were developed, of course, because men's traditional underwear 100+ years ago didn't offer that protection.......

today, with jockstraps having become a bit of a mild fetish for some and with the internet allowing millions of images to proliferate, it was inevitable that fashion jocks with bright colors, not really intended for use in sports, would emerge......few guys wear jocks these days except in the traditional rough sports, many preferring compression shorts or just tighter boxer briefs/briefs.......

the appeal of jockstraps to me is just their classic no-frills traditionally-athletic purpose, the (usually) highly-masculine appearance of those wearing them, and the minimal coverage afforded by the narrow straps and pouch (runner/swimmer jocks even more!).......silly colorful fashion jocks distract from all these personal preferences......

I love it… love hearing people’s thought processes and what floats their boats.
Honestly this is the most respectful and healthy type of discussion every thread should have instead of the constant arguments we see.
