Jockstraps

Soooo, as many of you know, I have a wish list of jocks on Amazon, and guess what. One was on sale for Prime Day, so I had to get it. The C-in2 Core Jock in white. I ordered the 2x, and they sent a 1x, but its very stretchy and comfortable So far I like it a lot.

So I came home early today to a surprise in my mailbox. I was browsing on Ebay last week, looking at some vintage jocks that I thought I couldn't afford. I decided to put in an offer on one that I really wanted, but thought I couldn't afford. (The seller wanted almost $80 for it!) Well, anyway, I guess the seller accepted my offer as the jock was in my mailbox today.

Vintage Tru-Fit jock...

So, update on my two new acquisitions.

C-in2 Jock: Wore it all day Thursday and to bed Thursday evening. Very comfortable, almost on par with a spandex Golberg for comfort. We will see how it goes, but this will end up in my top ten at least, maybe my top 5.

Vintage Tru-Fit jock: Well, the package says "Soft/Breathable" and damn sure they're right. I wore it all day Friday and to bed Friday night. Most comfortable jock I own to sleep in. I'm still wearing it now, but will change after I take a shower in a little bit. Probably the softest pouch of all my jocks. Wearing it outside while working in the heat yesterday, there was no perspiration buildup in my crotch, and it didn't feel steamy either. Really nice. I'd like the pouch to be just a tad more supportive, but overall this jock is still great.

The pouch seems like it might be prone to runs or snags... IDK. I'll find out. I either hand wash or wash in the washer on cold in a net bag, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

The packaging says that it was distributed by Kmart. Wow. I've despised Kmart for much of my life. The lighting in their stores hurt my eyes, so I shopped elsewhere. I can't believe this was a Kmart brand jock.

My only negative about this jock was that it had a small hole where the pouch met the waistband. As the seller was kind enough to accept my offer of less than 50% of their asking price, I didn't even contact them. I just got out my sewing kit and stitched it back up. I have no idea if this was either a manufacturing defect, or was it just shit happens when textiles are stored unused for 30 years.

Anyway, this is a fantastic jock, and one worthy of putting back into production. Really wish these were made in black. Would be perfect to wear under my mesh motorcycle pants.

Overall, both of these are definitely in my top 10, and maybe even top 5, so look for an update of my jock ranking thread in the near future after I get a couple of wash/wear cycles in. Here's a link to it for anyone who wants to see my current rankings. I've acquired several jocks since I created this thread, so it is due for an update soon anyway. Join me as I rank my jock collection.

I would definitely handwash. I wouldn't risk it in a washing machine even in a mesh bag. Thats just me. I hand wash all jocks and any kind of delicate under garments although I am not always delicate with them while wearing them

As a general rule I only wash in a mesh bag on cold, or hand wash. Never put in the dryer. I just lay the jocks out on my bed and turn the ceiling fan on high. They're usually dry within a couple hours.
