John bubniak (spider-man ps4 actor)

He doesn't really look 15 at all. I've seen and known plenty of people who look like that at 23 or, the flipside, look like they're already 30 by 23, the whole they don't like x age is a nebulous concept. The new face looks more realistic, especially the eyes and the whole facial structure looks more natural too.

Also, I don't see the Tom Holland similarities at all and I have a crush on both of these gentlemen. They look decidedly different.

I’m glad you’re liking but in complete honesty, it’s hard to believe this new Peter is mentoring Miles and was with MJ and Felicia who they look older in comparison. John’s model has a more rugged, experienced, and sophisticated look.

You need to remember that the Miles game was made to showcase the PS5, so it's going to look better than the first one automatically and that means more detail and that means the screenshots are going to make the first one have this softness to it. The first one is just being remastered and it's not the same as building it from scratch with knowledge it'll run on the PS5.

Example, the ray tracing on Miles's game is way better than the one being used in Peter's game.

And facial structure wise, the new Peter does look more realistic. The artistic version has this weird look to the eye area and just looks more molded in clay whereas the new Peter does look more natural.

Again though, age and looks don't go hand in hand. Not everyone looks their age and even in Hollywood, the disparity between age and physical looks is wide.

I honestly don’t care about which looks more realistic. Obviously the PS5 would look better. But many fans and I grew attached to John’s face and whenever I think of Marvel’s Spider-Man I see of John’s face. It feels like someone took a copy of your favorite movie and swap the main character’s face with another actor’s. It’s going to take some time getting used to Ben’s version in the sequel.

Your blind, the new version is already being dubbed 'Hom Tolland' because of his similarity to Tom, albeit just off enough to not get sued for using his likeness without permission.

John has a wonderful real life face and those soulful eyes, the PS4 version of him is a little clunky but they easily could've stuck with him and used a more refined version of the same look.

This guy looks more like the latest bland Broadway star, maybe a skinny model version of Jonathan Lipnicki mixed with Holland. A good looking guy sure, but so much more generic - cute, but not I want to suck out hit cum for days hot like John.

Didn't they learn from the recent "Avengers" game that the more you try and make your hero look like the MCU version without going the full way, the more it doesn't seem to work?

Eh, to each their own. Maybe because I draw and do a lot of portraits so facial structure pops out to me but Ben Jordan doesn't look like Tom Holland at all.

And I don't mind different actors portraying the same character. I grew up on comics and every era has a different rendition of the characters especially with the artists interpretation.

I think it looks great and as they say, both versions still exist. It's a boon for both models to be able to partake in portraying a super hero. Although calling people generic is just being rude, especially on looks. They're both great looking guys. And yeah, Tom Holland is also hot. They're all hot. Let's be honest, they don't cast ugly people in movies let alone video games. lol

Hope they put the same "work" upgradingthe shirtless (briefs) Spidey skin because it looks really weird without a efing bulge.
What I can't understand it's why they have to de-age Ben?

The Miles Morales game was going to be a DLC for the Ps4 game but Insomniac revamped it to be a Ps5 launch title, that's the reason the game looks the same as the first game (and the reason why it's going to appear on Ps4 too)

I've hear rumors that the (secret) reason why they changed the face model it's because of the Marvel Avengers game and the Spidey model there, they were going to change the model in Spiderman 2 but decided to do it now to match the other game.

Insomniac’s lame excuse about motion capture working better with the new model make that rumor more believable which sucks because one of the reasons why fans enjoy the original game is because it’s its own thing, no involvement with the MCU.

Well, at least John is taking it pretty well.
