I'm not into feet (no hate against those who like them, they just don't appeal to me), but it looks so weird going into a tub with socks on. Having wet socks is a gross and offputting feeling. I can't imagine choosing to wear socks in a bath or shower. He must really be trying to avoid pictures of his feet being out there.

i think it's also in part because the water is really cold. 40ºf is 4ºc. it's basically like one of those ice baths or cryo chambers. and at least with the cryo chambers, it's mandatory to wear protection on the extremeties to prevent freeze burn. so while the socks are likely in part to hide his feet, they're probably also so his feet don't turn to popsicles

Ah okay, thanks for the context. I did not realize that. Personally I think I'd rather get out of the tub a little earlier or put my feet up on the side before getting wet socks, lol. But this does make sense.
