before he announced that his label dropped him, he announced that he re-signed with a different agency.
also, in a recent live he said that he’s been going to auditions so he must have an agent
his agency dopped him because he didn't make them money. Likely he did not sign with a different agency.

you don't need an agent. it's better if you do, because that agent will do the hard work for you. but like, if you yourself are doing that side of the work, you can get the auditions booked. like, the thing you need an agent or manager is to book you the auditions, and since they're in the industry, they know the auditions happening and can book them for you. but if you constantly look for audition calls and book them yourself, it's the same thing, they're booked regardless.
it's one of those recommended but not entirely necessary type of things

The agent would give even better terms to him if he had talent and was extremely bookable.

i’d argue he has some talent. he has some catchy songs. the one he’s promoting now is catchy. he has a good voice but needs better writers and producers. i’m sure the ex-music label already tried. i hope he keeps going!
influencers have agents, and for them, i would say they’re less talented than johnny.
i think johnny should shift into influencer, but he doesn’t want to. he gets offended when people call him a “tiktok signer.” he said in a podcast, “i didn’t start on tiktok. i was here before tiktok.” i’m paraphrasing. his latest single shows about 400k streams. not sure if that’s good or not.

Tbh I don't think he is joking about depression. I know he keeps "John" separate from "Johnny" but even when he is having a good time, something always just seems off, like he is trying to divert his mind away from something. I know a lot of people and have a number of family members that have battled various degrees of depression, and he really does give off the same "secret battle" vibes as some of them.
