You have it all going for you. Make the most of it.
“The Navy began construction Friday on the USNS Harvey Milk.”
(The U.S. Navy just handed LGBT activists a victory no one saw coming)
Yay US Navy ! Cool.
And in the spirit of World Peace it might be nice to have a global Kiss-A-Sailor day to celebrate.
Where we won't distinguish between navy and merchant navy. Because I say so and it's inclusive.
Whatever you do, just obey orders. Here are the reasons you shouldn't have sex (but probably still will anyway):
1. You are under orders not to.
2. You will be tired off your ass.
3. There's no place to do it.
4. Whoever you do it with will probably regret it and turn you in for sexual assault.
Not kidding re #4. It's far too common, in basic training or in service generally (straight/curious/bi/questioning guys filing complaints against gay dudes. I've defended them). Whatever you do, make sure you have consent and try not to violate any orders.
Best of luck with your new job.Just to keep everyone posted — I did my first swear in today & will be shipping out on May!
