Joining The Navy!

Wishing you all the luck and wishing you the same as @Barberseville:
Good luck. Have fun. Stay safe

I'm sure you'll be perfect judging by your verification photo.
Is that a torpedo or a submarine..?

Damn man....and WOOF !!! :p
If you're ever in port and on shore leave this side of the Atlantic I'm buying you a beer if u'r interested.

Whatever you do, just obey orders. Here are the reasons you shouldn't have sex (but probably still will anyway):
1. You are under orders not to.
2. You will be tired off your ass.
3. There's no place to do it.
4. Whoever you do it with will probably regret it and turn you in for sexual assault.

Not kidding re #4. It's far too common, in basic training or in service generally (straight/curious/bi/questioning guys filing complaints against gay dudes. I've defended them). Whatever you do, make sure you have consent and try not to violate any orders.

This. My FB is within a few months of finishing his 20-year Navy career. He would say it's been a good career, with only a few times he's been in dangerous or difficult circumstances and he has travelled extensively around the world with long ports of call in Ethiopia/Somalia, Japan and Australia. In some of those ports he found FBs but he was always hands-off with the guys he was serving with. He also had long-term relationships with 2 different guys stateside AND the Navy gave him good health care including Prep.

Be safe and sane, and get Prep!

Just to keep everyone posted — I did my first swear in today & will be shipping out on May!
Best of luck with your new job.

Just keep posting on LPSG when you have the chance and you will find a host of guys who have been where you are going. It is my bet that that they will be happy to provide you with info on the site and/or assistance if you should visiting in their area.

You are going to have a lot of guys trying to get into you pants so don’t get carried away. Pay attention to what
Pistol has told you (above), especially item #4. I have seen it work against guys in both the Army and Air Force. Be especially careful with female (military) friends as they often have agendas beyond your imagination (and you can’t win if entangled).
