No idea. I’m British, so they don’t mean all that much to me anyway. Although they are probably the awards I know best after the Oscars in the US. I know there are others but it gets confusing why there are so many awards shows & which are for what genre of entertainment! Various actors seemed quite excited about the announcements today so guessing they remain fairly relevant?!

I kinda like the split season approach. It keeps the show in conversation a bit longer.

It's mostly the British shows. Pretty sure that's because it's how they do it. I remember it that way back when I lived there and it was so frustrating
