Josh Hartnett

Uhm, I recall watching this show, but for the life of me I can’t remember the context for him and Dorian Gray to be getting tongue-y with one another. Was it a dream or hallucination or something stupid like that?
They were just both bi. Dorian Gray is implicitly bi/gay in the novel and the show, and there was an episode where Eva Green was possessed by a demon or something and during the exorcism she/it basically outs Josh's character as a bottom lmao.

Met him once. Very tall, very handsome, exudes confidence.

It's funny to read the last part because he always comes off so low key similar to a Kevin Costner type. There is very little swaggering alpha-ness to him.

I saw an interview with him and Kate Mara last week and its interesting that his personality has not changed whatsoever from his fame heyday 20 years ago. Low key and very dry. The interviewer tells him how one of his costars said that he was one of her first crushes when she was younger and he instantly turns red. Kate Mara is like "if you were a female and alive in 2001, you had a crush on him" :joy:

some solid screen grabs from black mirror, anyone?

Watched the highly disturbing episode that he stars in. He is extremely good in it, I thought, as was his costar Aaron Paul. That was a meaty showcase for 2 the leads and both did very well. Josh Hartnett has always 'hurt somber' very well and did so again here.

He is also, by far, the 'fullest' I think he has ever been. He looks handsome and healthy, but he is legit probably 50 pounds heavier right now that he was in his 2000s heyday where he stick skinny. There is a shot of them jogging and its like 'Josh Hartnett has pecs?!?". A diet and some time in a sauna & I bet he looks like a 35 year old super model.

he isn't the best actor, and he could not carry that show.

Depending what type of role he is playing, he can absolutely carry a show. He is much more Brad Pitt than Leo DiCaprio in terms of vibe, but Hartnett has always been a very solid actor. He would fit right in on Yellowstone.

Just want to add - after watching Black Mirror, if this guy is indeed chosen for Harvey Dent as rumored, it would be a grand slam choice. He would nail it.

It wasn’t a show-y confidence, just a real laid back confident quality to him.
