I really don't think so. To me, he seems a good, sensitive and down to earth guy. I personally find all this badness towards him really unfair, just for a breakup song, which only tells a part of the narrative. We don't know the whole story. In my opinion he handled the situation really well, in a very mature way, for just being a 20 year old boy.
Agreed, the kind of attention and pressure Josh's receiving has broken/sent others young star to a dark edge before, he is conducting himself really well.
And just again, for real, Liv's breakup songs, even if they are about Josh, are just very...normal breakup songs. Youngsters do stupid shit all the time, they are only figuring themselves out and learning to communicate. Unless Liv is saying that Josh abused/harassed/cheated on her then that *might* be something to ponder, but as things are they look like your normal teenage stuff every other day, move it along please
Is anyone actually sure he came out? From what I saw he said something then said it was his coming out video but that could have been a joke followed by speculation then his team saying u can’t admit it was a joke because people would take u as looking at coming out as a joke so he put out a statement where he hasn’t figured everything out yet. Idk. Just both felt like he might or might not have.

Exactly! When we are teens, we often see things magnified, we are so melodramatic. For example, in DL she says that he was cheating on her with a blonde girl much older than her, while between her and Sabrina there are only 4 years of difference. I mean, not everything that an artist writes and sings corresponds to the reality of the facts 100%, some things may be true while others may be fictional, only they know.
He wasn't jocking, he came out for real, but when people started to freaking out about it, I think he felt insecure and probably even uncomfortable, and so he made that statement. For God sake, he's 20 years old, leave him alone! Seriously, our society is in decline because of these fucking social media, we are completely fucked up.

The way I see it unlabeled just means "not-straight but not exactly sure what brand of not-straight", which is fine, honestly
The fact that we’re having this conversation speaks to the vagueness of his statement though. I’m not saying he should be persecuted for it, obviously. He’s very young and it’s fine to be unsure of your sexuality. But as a public statement goes, it’s… not a very good or clear one.
His initial statement seemed to come off almost on accident, and then all he said was that he was still figuring it out. It looks like he wasn't actually ready to come out when it happened, it just sorta did.
yeah, I’m very curious about what went on behind the scenes there. There must’ve been some back and forth with his management or Disney or whatever. Maybe we’ll find out someday
I feel like his initial interview about Harry Styles and him coming out is just a joke, although probably a bad one, but it blew way out of proportion and a lot medias reported on it especially since the entirety of the Olivia's drama. He then probably had to put out a statement even though he is probably not really ready for it. Idk though since he liked a few tweets about him not being queer. Regardless, I hope he is ok lol and I support any of his decisions.

That’s not true. He actually liked tweets about him BEING queer.
After the Harry comment that I think he made kind of by accident, articles came out saying his representatives were claiming he was not coming out and he actually liked tweets about articles removing false information from representatives, which only proves that he was NOT joking and is in fact, not straight and on some point of the queer spectrum.
Both of these tweets are in his liked tweets. These happened immediately after people were trying to claim his Harry Styles comments were just a joke.
