Yeah because he was relentlessly hounded on social media (and in person) when his ex wrote a burn album about him resulting in serious mental health issues.
The mental health problems were actually present since he was abused from an early age.
Yea because the internet has been disgusting towards him and social media is toxic for everyone but radioactive for him. These people make fun of him being SA multiple times and make everything he does about her.
You're delusional if you think that. That was very hurtful and traumatic for him so makes perfect sense why he hates social media. Yea he's released multiple projects and is harassed by those pychos everytime he does. Don't tell people who were bullied to get over it. You got problems if you think that just goes away especially with his history of being SA and bullied for years.
He has been open about the fact that the harassment he received in the aftermath of the album release took a severe toll on his mental health. While it's true that he has indicated it wasn't the source of all of his mental health issues, going "Well actually, he is a survivor of CSA and was already in a fragile place when the harrassment campaign began" is ... well, it's not the correction that you think it is. Sorry!!
Also, more relevent to today's topic, is that he was fairly active on SM before the harrassment campaign (and in the early part of it) and then disappeared as the harrassment campaign picked up speed. So whatever health issues were concerning him pre-harrassment campaign did not keep him off of SM, but the ones that were caused or exacerbated by the harrassment campaign have kept him off SM.

oh i didn't think of it like that thank you for educating me. my mind went straight to how everyone blamed olivia for it when it wasn't her fault. she was writing her feelings and had no intention to do that to him
It was her fault as it was how she talked about it and acted like what happened was so bad not just relationship just didn't work out and she broke up with him and she never told her fans to stop even when they made fun of his SA
