It’s like he’s not fully committing to singing, there’s a weird sing-talk quality a lot of the time (even when that’s not how the album version is sung so it’s a strange choice to make) and then when he does attempt to actually full on sing, it sounds off. Idk if this makes sense to anyone else. 1:28 in this video is a good example. He just forgoes attempting to actually sing the chorus and more or less just shouts it as if he’s talking.

I think he had to project his voice more than usual since there wasn’t a physical audience where he was performing. But I think he did a pretty good job.
